There are two types of solutions:

- Periodic Calibration (or Verification): Calibration (or recalibration) performed by a manufacturer or calibration center “periodically” (usually performed by the manufacturer for warranty) to indicate that the instrument is performing as planned.
What is field calibration?
Field measurement should be done before starting your measurements and at the end (indicating calibration). If you want to use your measurements in any planning or legal environment, this is important. This is done using an acoustic calibrator (class 1 or 2 reference acoustic sauce depending on your noise level).
This should not be done before and after each measurement, but on each and after measurements you take. What can not do field calibration?
A field acoustic calibrator cannot detect:

What is periodic verification or recalibration?
Recalibration requires a large amount of testing and performance checks and is usually only done by the manufacturer in the calibration lab, and is the best way to increase the performance of your meter levels of noise dosimeters.
